Fabiana Fogagnolo - "I was born in August 1995, in Turin. I became passionate about photography during my adolescence. My technical studies support my continuous research in contemporary art, so I use photography and video as a means of psychological, anthropological and cultural investigation."

What would you think for about forever?
The project was born from the intention to oppose caducity to eternity, the line to the uroborus, and as a principle of a personal catharsis.
Reflecting on the meaning of the "moment" brought me to consider humans as temporal beings, able to see across the moment but unable to truly live it.
From this perspective the time flow is perceived as a line meant to finish. Due to that, we live the moment by constantly connecting It to a past memory or a future expectation.

This project's founding idea is to dethrone this perspective, by seeing each moment as valuable in itself, as unattached to the sense of "never-more" and as free from fugacity - as it would be if time could flow circularly, in an eternal return.
Thrown in this new conception we become truly responsible of what's going to eternally repeat, because every choice we made is not defined by a divine providence, but it depends on ourselves, on the self of the eternal time before us, who has already made a choice that we'll be destined to repeat forever.
This is a responsibility which is at the same time slight and severe, that on one hand limits us and on the other hand it can make us free.

What would you think about for the eternity? That is the question that I wanted to answer, by seeking the meaning into the highest moments, the most important ones, where it only counts who you are when it seems that there's no hope. Aletheia is a moment by moment narration of an intimate and quiet story. It tells the fragility of human relationships through symbology and reveals, without showing it, pain and wonder, fear and faith.
Aletheia is beauty and disruption.
A broken mirror returning a destroyed, refracted, shattered image. It is the "never - like - before" which we are deeply afread of.
It is Disclosure. Uncovering. Epiphany. Truth. Something that is not hidden anymore. To experience the truth by its attitude to conceal itself.
Aletheia.
