"Healing through creative expression is our common ground. Through this project, we wanted to address the balancing act of the human experience, with an emphasis on the paradox of solitude and connection."

Parker Heyford is a human on earth who writes to survive, and also to thrive. Lately, he is inspired by artist collaborations, machinery, nature, and the feeling of sound waves. Suffolk based Photographer Mikaela Jade creates original Fine Art photography and artworks that explore themes of nature, mythology, surreal and alternative worlds as well as cultural storytelling. Mikaela uses traditional and contemporary photographic processes in combination and conflict with one another to produce images which reference our relationship with the stories that shape us, and the world that surrounds us. She often creates automatic writing whilst photographing her surroundings, the text and images work together to create a narrative within the work. Materials and subject matter are chosen intentionally to resonate in our memories. Imploring us to remember the past, consider the moment and contemplate our future fate. @mikaela_rackham
